About (re)Boot Camp

(re)Boot Camp is a 6-week course designed to give Veterans the tools to manage stress and reach their potential in life after Service. The course combines float therapy, meditation and classes with a high-level Psychologist specializing in PTSD.

PARTICIPANTS

12 Veterans will be selected to participate in each class.

WEEKS

Each class will run for six weeks starting in June.

HOURS A WEEK

Two floats each week plus meditation classes.

(re)Boot Camp Components

The course couples float therapy, meditation and instruction to give the participants a holistic suite of tools to effectively and naturally treat the symptoms they face.

FLOAT THERAPY

Veterans will use float therapy to manage anxiety, depression, pain and PTSD symptoms naturally.

MEDITATION

Veterans will learn how to start a daily meditation practice to manage stress symptoms.

BRUCE AMMONS, Ph.D.

Veterans will attend classes with Bruce, learn about PTSD and how to manage symptoms effectively.

(re)Boot Camp Outcomes

The course will teach participants how to identify and treat stress in everyday life, opening space for continued improvement and personal growth.

STRESS MANAGEMENT

Veterans will see immediate reduction in stress symptoms reestablishing mind-body connection.

INCREASED AWARENESS

Veterans will learn how to start identify stress and develop simple practices to reduce stress in every day life.

TOOLS AND TACTICS

Veterans will learn about the mechanics of stress on the mind and body and identify methods for continued growth.
